— WELCOME TO
Wholeness Within Counseling
I'm Missy Beaird, and I understand what it feels like to be lost in your own life. I help women who have come from difficult relationships or painful pasts find their way back to themselves. If you've been so busy taking care of everyone else that you don't even remember who you are anymore, you're in the right place. I'm here to support you through this journey of rediscovering your strength and creating the life you truly deserve.
— My Journey Into Healing Work
A Healing Journey That Shapes My Expertise
Growing up in a dysfunctional home shaped by family addiction, difficult marriages, and codependency, I learned early what it meant to survive by taking care of everyone else's needs. I spent years going to therapy myself, working through the pain of growing up in chaos and learning to break patterns that weren't serving me.
Through my own healing journey, I discovered something powerful, when you've walked through the darkness yourself, you can genuinely guide others toward the light. My personal experience with addiction in my family and understanding narcissistic abuse dynamics gives me insight that goes far beyond textbook knowledge. I know what it feels like to lose yourself in someone else's problems, to feel responsible for everyone's happiness except your own.
This lived experience, combined with three decades of professional training, allows me to connect with clients in a way that blends both personal understanding and clinical expertise. I became the therapist I wish had been there for me during my hardest moments.

Mentorship & Impact
As a Clinical Supervisor, I mentor future counselors while continuing to witness healing firsthand, thousands of hours spent helping women reclaim their lives and rediscover their worth.

My Approach to Women's Therapy
I believe that trust is the foundation of all healing work, which is why I strive to be genuine and transparent in everything I do. You are welcome in my office exactly as you are, without needing to pretend or perform. Each session is a space where you have my complete attention while I listen with care and deep compassion.
My therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, and Gestalt methods. But more than any technique, I focus on creating a confidential and supportive environment where you can begin to heal and feel truly empowered.
I want to be the safe person you feel completely comfortable sharing anything with, knowing you won't be judged for your struggles or your past.
What Guides My Practice
I believe that every woman deserves to feel heard and understood, especially those who have spent their lives listening to everyone else. I'm committed to being fully present with each client, recognizing that healing happens in relationship and trust grows through consistency and authentic care.
My mission is to help women move from lives of chaos and overwhelming responsibility to discovering tranquility, purpose, and genuine self-compassion. I believe that with the right support and practical tools, any woman can learn to set healthy boundaries, manage her emotional wellbeing, and create a life that truly reflects her values and dreams.
I'm committed to providing therapy that honors both your strength and your struggles, helping you understand that seeking support isn't weakness, it's one of the bravest things you can do.
