— Understanding Your Investment
Transparent Pricing
I believe in complete transparency about all costs involved in your care. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
What's Included: Your session fee covers our therapy time together, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and, for those using insurance, claim filing on your behalf.
Additional Costs:
Late cancellation (less than 24 hours): Full session fee
No-show appointments: Full session fee
I'm always happy to discuss costs openly and answer any questions about pricing or insurance. Your financial situation won't be judged, and we can work together to make therapy feasible for you.
Not sure which service fits your needs best? That's completely normal. During our free 15-minute consultation, we'll talk about what you're experiencing and determine which approach might help you most.
Remember, you don't have to figure this out alone. Finding the right fit is part of the process.

Insurance and Payment Options
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and submit claims on your behalf.
Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles are collected at the time of service based on your plan.

If you use another insurance plan, sessions are out of network. You pay at the time of the appointment and I provide a detailed receipt you can use to request reimbursement from your insurer. Many plans reimburse a portion of the fee after the deductible.
What I Provide
- Claim filing for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama
- Itemized receipts with CPT and diagnosis codes for out-of-network claims
- Clear billing and support with benefit questions
How Reimbursement Works
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama: I file claims directly. Your coverage and costs depend on your specific policy.
- Other insurers: Contact your plan to ask about out-of-network mental health benefits and reimbursement rates.
Payment Flexibility
I accept credit or debit cards and HSA or FSA cards. We can discuss the fee and your coverage during a brief call to find the best path for you.
— Starting Your Journey
Your First Session
Your first session is about getting to know each other and creating a foundation for our work together. You'll have my complete attention as we explore what's been happening in your life and what you hope to accomplish.
What We'll Cover:
- What brought you to therapy and your current concerns
- Your family background and any relevant history
- Your symptoms and how they're affecting your daily life
- Goals you'd like to work toward
- Questions you have about therapy or my approach
What to Expect: I'll take time to really understand your unique situation. Many women come to me feeling lost or overwhelmed after years of focusing on everyone else's needs. There's no pressure to share more than feels comfortable, and you can ask me questions too.
Getting Comfortable:
My approach is warm and genuine. I want you to feel heard and understood from our very first meeting. This is your space to be completely honest about what you're experiencing.
